Bonnie, I am sad today reading about Grace & Ralph's passing, & their sibs. I tried to get in touch with Ralph in 2019-2020. There must be another Ralph Harkies in the Orangeville area. How wonderful for Grace to be 98 & Ralph 94! My Nana Lillian was your Grampa Cliff's 2nd wife - a wonderful man, husband, father & Grampa! I met them all & you too, often from Jan 1,1955-August 1957. You & Craig were little, & Jackie. Ralph was adopting Robert & Debby. I was 13. After Grampa died, I remember Jim & Ralph, & I think your dad, coming to Southampton to visit my Nana. Cliff was the only Grampa I knew as mine died in 43 & 54. I spent my holidays & weekends in Orangeville with them. Loved the big family. Visited Grampa in the hospital. That too, was sad. He was young & it all happened so fast. But they were very happy for their brief time together. Being my Nana's only G-daughter, we were always close. I have Cliff's funeral book, & when Nana died in 76, it should have gone to your family. I'd like to return it to one of you, so hope someone sees this, & I hear from them. I tried to get this to your cousin in Ottawa but it didn't pan out due to the pandemic. My daughter Sara works there since Uni, but because of covid, hasn't been home since I tried to return the book to your family. If plans don't change, she may get here this week!! Sincerely, Min

Grace was a thoughtful and caring friend, whose family was very dear to her heart. She was always so cheerful in spite of her declining health!
I will miss her phone calls and our discussions about faith!
