POWELL, 92
LAKELAND - Mrs. Grace Powell passed away, April 25, 2016, at the age of 92. She was of Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Powell.
Mrs. Powell worked in retail for 11 years. She was a wonderful mother who loved her children and family. She taught us the important things in life and always put us first.
Her compassion for others was God given.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Joyce) Powell, Deanna Harnage, Susan (Gene) Lord and Alan (Mary) Powell, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
We are so grateful for the care and support of Good Shepherd Hospice.
Services will be held at Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, Georgia.

My Memaw was the sweetest, kindest most beautiful person in the world. Heaven has certainly gained a wonderful gentle soul <3 I love you, Memaw Give Jesus a big hug for me <3
