Dearest Doris, my dear friend from childhood. I didnt hear of your loss until today, and my heart is heavy and sad. I lost Mike on May 28th, just a few days before your loss and it is a real shock. I love you and miss you. Let me hear from you. Love Carol

My thoughts and prayers go to the Griffin Family. Hate I missed being with you. We were classmates at West Limestone, and graduated in 1964. I considered Grady Paul a friend then and still do. I have not seen him in a while, as I live and teach high school Ag. about 170 miles south of WL.
One story I would like to share with you. When we were in the sixth grade in Miss Nettie Christopher's room, (my Aunt Net). Grady Paul and three others tried to take a whipping that Aunt Net was giving me, because they knew I was not the guilty one that had done what another one said I had done. (He had and they knew it.) The other three were, Gene Craig, Bud White, and Claud Glanton. You do not forget friends, that stand with you like that.
May God be with each of you, as he holds you in his arms.
