Graham Russell Dawson

I am sorry I was out of the country and was just now made aware that your dad died. He was my godfather and I remember many enjoyable exchange visits between our families, especially around this time of year. My heartfelt condolences to the Dawson family.

I was out of town when Graham slipped away and was not here for his service. We were saddened deeply when we learned of his passing on our return.

Graham is fondly remembered at The Vancouver Board of Trade, where he made a huge contribution as President and Chief Elected Officer. Our sympathies and holiday thoughts for the loved ones he left behind. Graham made a difference, he made a contribution. We and the community are all better off for his having been amongst us.

I have lost two first cousins (Jean Hills,and Graham)and a brother (Murray Dawson, Dallas) within such a short time. They all had remarkable lives! Love and prayers to all of the family.

It is with respect and pride that I will remember my Gramps. He will always be treasured in the hearts of his family who loved him so much. We send our love from England and our prayers are with all the family at this time.

We send our condolences on the passing of Uncle Graham. His achievements will be remembered. It is hard losing Graham, my mom and dad within such a short time. They both led such great and full lives.

His classmates at the Royal Canadian Naval College (Royal Roads, Esquimault, B.C. 1943-45) salute the passing of their longtime friend. We, the 15 surviving classmates, are particularly proud of Graham's achievements since those early years.

Losing both Jean and Graham in such a short period of time is more than a shock. Uncle Graham was one of those very special people of whom there are too few. We will be with you on Monday.
