Grandpa Bear Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 25, 2003.
In Loving Memory of Grandpa Bear 4/20/29 - 6/21/03 Watching you these past few months, we knew something was wrong yet we hoped things would get better and your life would continue on. Things didn’t work out that way. Why we may never know, but tonight we have a new angel watching our family here below. Right now our hearts are breaking, some say the pain will ease after a while. And when we talk of Grandpa Bear, we’ll remember you with smiles. You taught us a great lesson, that family is what life is about, and no matter what may come up, love works everything out. Your love will continue to guide us. Even though your face we no longer see, we will always have your love with us, because your love formed our family. Our Grandpa Bear passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 21, 2003, as his children gathered around his bed and talked of things he had done in his life. One of Grandpa’s favorite sayings was, "I guess you’re wondering why I called this meeting." This was one meeting none of us wanted to ever happen. Grandpa, we already miss seeing your smile and hearing your voice. But the love you gave to each of us is something that will never fade and will live forever in our hearts. Your family, Wife - "Little Cat" Daughters -Chris and Kathy Sons - Mike and Skip Grandchildren - Andrew and Sarah; John and Katie; Katie and Alex; John, Jason, Adam, Chris, Timmy and Billy Son/Daughter- in-laws - Chet, David, Nan, and Valita
