I had the pleasure of getting to know Grant on the film The Mango Tree.
We spent several weeks on the set and in a few Bundaberg Hotels.
He was a dead set good bloke, I heard a lot very funny and very interesting Mad Max and Mad Dog Morgan stories. It is a very fond memory and I was sorry to hear that he has passed.
He certainly had a full and interesting life,

Grant was my first portrait sitter. The painting was selected for the Portia Geach Potrait Prize. I was nervous but he made me feel at ease straight away with is interesting and amazing stories. I visited Grant on a number of occasions and the last visit Grant and I had a very deep conversation about life and I was blown away by his intelligence. I will miss our chats and also the amazing passionfruit that grows on his veranda and the lessons on how to eat them properly. Keep on pushing the limits Mr Fearless.

Vale Grant Page. We lost an Australian legend on Thursday. Our neighbour, our friend Grant Page . Grant was 85, he loved Dunbogan and many of us shared years chatting over coffee and drinks at the Dunbogan Boatshed.
I met Grant at the boatshed 8 years ago, we were both former Northern Beaches escapees and we both loved the Camden Haven because it reminded us of Pittwater.
Grant told incredible stories of his life, especially his phenomenal career as one of Australia's greatest stuntmen. His passion for his sons was immense and the acerage reserve at Kendall, is part of his legacy to them and his grandchildren.
Grant was still working on films in Sydney, he'd show us sneaky pics of him in full make up, still planning restoration to his yacht..we got the full tour, and planning his 100th birthday stunt with George Lucas; abseiling off the Harbour Bridge. We will miss you very much Grant, you were a remarkable man and a fabulous Bogan. love Penny
