Grayson William Lambert, Jr.

Gainesville - Mr. Grayson William Lambert, Jr., age 77, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, Feb. 21 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens with a reception to follow. He was laid to rest at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Mr. Lambert was born December 20, 1947 in Athens and retired after 40+ years from Reliance Electric. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jeanette Lambert; mother, Martha P. Lambert; and father, Grayson Lambert, Sr. Survivors include daughters. Kelly Attaway and Deidra Pinion; grandchildren, Taylor, Carter and Aaron; brothers, Rand Lambert and Steve (Cherry) Lambert; and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Lambert is also survived by a bonus family including companion, Ellen Cowne; her children, Dallas, Chad and Beejee; and was "Uncle Bill" to her 7 grandchildren.
