Just found this obit.It illustrates his rye sense of humor and demonstrable love of children. He followed and came to plays that our daughter and friend's daughters had appeared in, in local shows, always with kind remarks in his reviews. RIP friend. We hope you'll come back in the next life as a slim gourmand so you can partake without dietary regrets.

Greg was one of the most interesting guys that Ron Pennock introduced me to in El Cajon. He had a great sense of humor and interesting perspectives on everything happening in our city. I have no doubt that he and Ron have just picked up where they left off.

So sad to hear about Greg's sudden passing. He had just taken some wonderful photos the day before, published in the paper the same day as the announcement of his death. He was a faithful presence at Blackfoot High School sporting events and school programs throughout the district, and he always got the best photos. He was a great supporter of our schools and students, and he will be missed.
