Greg SMITH

Greg was a very good friend of mine for many years. I helped him coach Curtis and Colin's hockey team one year and he worked very hard at keeping it fun while providing the players with a great experience. We spent time together in Edmonton when he was working in the oil drilling industry. Back in Ottawa my wife Debbie and I were part of his regular social circle and he was always fun to be with. I was very sad to hear of his passing but I will remember him fondly as a generous friend and caring person. I have attached a photo of Greg with myself, Karl and Mark Ablack. My sincere sympathies to his entire family.

We are heartbroken at the loss of Greg. Watching him growing up to become a special and loving man has been a privilege. My children always looked up to him as their older brother. We will miss him terribly.

So sad to hear the news of Greg's sudden death this past week. Remembering a kind and gentle soul who was always a good-natured but determined competitor at events related to family gatherings and Wolfenberg reunions. And such a talented photographer! He will be greatly missed by both friends and family.

We were so sad to read of Greg's passing. We have fond memories of Greg, particularly when you children were young: community events, hockey, t-ball, and so on. Our deepest condolences to you Curtis, Colin, Laura, and to the rest of the family. We will keep you all in our thoughts.

I will always remember Greg from our confirmation classes. He was quiet but always quick to smile. To all his family, we extend our heart of sorrow and prayers.
