Greg Travers

Today, June 13, 2018, I just found out about Greg's passing, my heart is aching. We worked together at the Open Learning Agency and I volunteered for him for many years lastly being at PWIP. He was an amazing man and helped so many and worked so hard. My thoughts are with Marie and his family. Elizabeth (Liz) Fedigan

Greg will be missed. He volunteered his time to the community by serving on the District of North Vancouver's Advisory Design Panel, providing invaluable insight into accessible design allowing new developments to be more inclusive. Greg was due to start a new term in January and we were looking forward to having his expertise on the Panel again. Our very sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, and our thanks for sharing Greg with us over the years.

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Greg. His kind soul and smile is missed already. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, his wisdom, and always being there for others to offer a hand.
May he rest in peace and smile everyday. You will forever be remembered. We miss you.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the North Shore Disability Resource Centre, I wish to pass on our sincere condolences. Over his 6 years with the NSDRC, Greg sat as President of the NSDRC, member of the Housing Committee and member of the NSDRC Foundation Board. His leadership, passion and sense of humour will be missed. His contributions made a difference in hundreds of people's loves.

On behalf of the Board and members of the North Shore Disability Resource Centre(NSDRC), I want to pass on our most sincere condolences. As a Board member with the NSDRC since 2011, Greg's passion, knowledge and humour were invaluable in creating accessible housing options for hundreds of North Shore citizens with disabilities. He will be missed.

Greg was a regular Client at our business centre. He always took a few minutes to chat, share a couple of stories, and make each of us feel special! He was an extraordinary man who inspired everyone he spent time with. We will miss him dearly and send our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones!

I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to Greg's family at this sad time of his passing. I have only known Greg a short time, having worked for him the last year and a half. However short this time was, I could see what an inspiration he was.

You will be missed with a heavy heart. We had so much fun together when we were younger. Times I will cherish and never forget. You were a very special person.

Please receive my most sincere condolences. I met Greg during a challenging time in my life and he was the one who genuinely helped me pull through. I was so fortunate that I got to meet him; he was a great person and will forever remember him.

Greg is a wonderful colleague, friend, leader, example to all and humble man of love. So saddened to hear of his passing and will pray for his family and friends and grieve with them. May God help us to carry on his important work.

I watched him grew up to be a better man then anyone could hope to be. We all aspire to be great, he worked and succeeded at it.

So sad today after reading in the Province of Greg's passing. I had just been thinking of him and wondering how he was doing and where he was working etc. Then to learn of this, well what an intstant heartache.
