Gregory Allen Bodine
SPRINGFIELD - Gregory Allen Bodine, 51, passed away at his home on March 24, 2015 at 3:30 p.m.
Gregg was born February 19, 1964, in Springfield, the son of Glen E. and Jackie Finn Bodine.
He is survived by his mother, Jackie (husband, Marvin) Taft of Springfield; his father, Glen E. (wife, Marlene) Bodine of New Berlin; three brothers, Stephen G. (wife, Cindy) Bodine of Riverton, Mark E. Bodine of Pleasant Plains, and Chad Bodine of New Berlin; one niece, Stephanie Bodine; two nephews, Justin and Jason Bodine; and several stepbrothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gregg graduated from New Berlin High School and attended Western Illinois University in Macomb. He was employed by the State of Illinois as an IT Administrator. Gregg was a loving and caring person, and a friend to everyone. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the St. Louis Blues.
Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Burial will take place at a later date in the Berlin Cemetery.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin.
Memorial Ceremony: 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Brosi officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Suicide Prevention Crisis, 710 N. 8th St., Springfield, IL 62702.

Although I never met Gregg, we shared the same name, and met through facebook when I did a search on my name. we were friends there for a while until I deleted my account. we used to joke that we could blame the other Gregg Bodine. I could say the Gregg Bodine in Illinois, and him the Gregg Bodine in Nevada. He seemed to be quite a Nice guy... I am so very sorry for your loss. and even though we never met, I feel as though I lost a Close friend. Gregg Bodine Nevada.
