I looked up to Greg. His integrity was unmatched, a true leader. Together we could fix anything, play anything laugh all day. I really loved him so much. He was my best friend in Marfa. He really made my life so much better when he was around. I spent the weekend with Greg just before he left us. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him. What a tragedy. He was what every man should aspire to be.

What an enormous loss. I have been a Strange Boys fan since I was a freshman in high school and while I’ll say that their music, specifically their albums Be Brave and the Club brought some of the most elating memories, I’ll also longfully regret not finding out about Greg’s music endeavors sooner. Condolences to the family and those around him, from a longtime listener, and never ending fan.

Greg was absolutely the nicest person I ever knew, always making you feel like you were the only person in the room when speaking with you, rest easy friend... your music will keep me going.

Sometimes you meet somebody only for a short time but you will never forget about the first meet.
I met Greg in 2010 supporting Strange Boys during their tour in Germany for only three shows but I never forgot about it. Greg and his love for music influenced me to this day and I was shocked hearing about his passing. The nicest and most remarkable person I ever met. You influenced my past ten years in music, RIP.

I was blessed to call Greg and Brian my nephews and always envied Greg for his ability to be so free & follow his heart musically all over the place, also his humility was admirable. He was somebody! He was infamous for whom he was, just ask anyone from Dallas to Marfa ( Europe &Canada!) be it via Strange Boys, his family, his music, his friends. He was well known but never admitted it. Greg certainly will have left a loss in the world due to his contributions in music, & most of all the communities he touched. As we go on and survive this monumental loss, always know time will not erase him from our memories but we will in time bear his loss with the dignity he left us for knowing him. God be with everyone who's lives crossed over with Greg Enlow, as you will be a better person forever, for knowing Greg!
