Mr. Brian David Peru, age 50, of Rome, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at a local hospital.
Mr. Peru was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on July 24, 1972, son of Billy Peru and the late Joyce Ann Baliles Peru. He worked for several years in maintenance at Kellogg’s. Brian enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include a daughter, Madison Lynn Peru; a grandson, Samson Leigh Bartley; his father, Billy Peru; a brother, Joey Eric Peru; a sister, Christy Lynn Coffia (Blake); nieces and nephews, Joey Eric Peru, II, Kimberly Brooke Peru, Alexia Logan Burns, Krista Ann Coffia, and Kendra Grace Coffia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 1pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with Pastor Sammy Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Wednesday from 11am until 12:45pm.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.

Brian was a great guy. He was always helpful if I needed him to help with a maintenance issue. He will be missed.

I worked at Kellogg's with Brian for years. Soon as I saw the name I knew that it was him. Praying for his family and friends. He was quiet but very knowledgeable and helpful.
