How sad to see this. I had Mr. Kuper as a teacher at North so many years ago- He was teaching at Cascade High when our paths crossed again when I also worked there...I still always called him Mr. Kuper and he would always tell me it was OK to call him by his first name! I have always remembered him as a quiet, kind man that enjoyed teaching and his students.
My condolences to his family. RIP Mr. Kuper.

I was saddened to read of Greg's passing. It has been a few years since I last saw him but I remember him as being devoted to his family, church and vocation. We met through the Everett School District where we both spent our careers. He was a highly regarded teacher. Also, he and Donna were such supportive parents at Emerson Elementary School when I was principal and their son Greg, Jr. was a student. My deepest sympathy goes out to Donna, Greg, Jr. and all other members of the family.

Greg was part of the "cream of the crop" as we opened Eisenhower. It was a special time with extraordinary people like Greg and the infamous seventh grade block team. Many fond memories there as well as with him at CHS. A true professional who gave it all, acted as a role model to so many who were lucky enough to be in his class. My heart goes out to the family. Losing a spouse and a dad leaves such a hole in one's heart. Cry a little, laugh a little and keep his legacy alive.
With love and empathy, Judy Heidman

We have known Greg for many years, and I started the Cradle Roll Nursery at Bethel Baptist Church with Donna. Greg and Donna did so much for Bethel and the community. When Mom was dying, before we girls got there that night, Donna came and sang hymns to Mom. Just one of the many thoughtful things they did.

So grateful to have had him for a block teacher in 7th Grade at Eisenhower Middle School. He will always be remembered as a great teacher and a fine person. So sad to hear of his passing and my sincere condolences to all his loved ones.
