From our early days on Troy Fire and being neighbors on Ravinia, with he Jon and Craig. then when we both changed departments, Greg to the USPS and I to Bolingbrook, we could always count on each other to answer the phone if one or the other needed a favor. Will miss him terribly. RIP brother.

When I transferred from Norfolk, VA to Phoenix as a Postal Inspector, I landed on the same team as Greg. If I had to describe him with one word: HILARIOUS! He was very good at his job, and he also brought a lot of humor to the people around him. Condolences to his family and friends.

I met Greg in the Postal Inspection Service Academy in 2001 and he was so funny, smart and sweet! Although his passing will be a tremendous loss, God has definitely chosen him to be an angel. God bless his soul and may God bless his family; you´re all in my prayers.

Greg and I were classmates at the Postal Inspection Service Academy and Popp was someone I will always remember fondly. He had the best facial reactions that would always make you smile put you at ease. He also gave great advice. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. He truly was one of the good guys. Rest in peace Popp.

Greg and I were USPIS 01-01 classmates. Even though our Postal Inspection Service careers ended in separate cities, I knew I can always call Greg whenever I needed any advice. Wishing you all the peace and comfort possible.

I am so sorry to hear Greg Lost his battle with cancer. I worked with Greg in Phoenix. He was a great contributor to a our team. A memory I have of Greg, that still makes me smile when I think about it, is when I borrowed his work car and learned of his love for ABBA! I tried to tease him about it but he just owned it and started singing and dancing which made me laugh. I know his family meant everything to him. So I hope your memories of him help you through the really rough spots.

My condolences to Gregg´s family. Sorry to read this news. I worked with Greg in the Chicago division and although we were never on the same team I considered him a good friend. I was always impressed by the way he presented himself. You could tell he was a Marine as soon as you shook his hand and he looked you right in the eye. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences to the Popp family. May your memories be your blessings. To hear about Greg passing was a kick in the gut for me. Greg and I were Postal Inspectors in Chicago. We worked together about four years. He became my team leader a year before I retired. Before that we worked the same assignment. Greg made work enjoyable for our team. He was a great team member and an awesome team leader. RIP MY FRIEND !
