Gregory Edward Steward

I was a classmate of Greg´s at EF. We shared a love of music and had a lot of laughs and fun times in choir. Seem to remember he played some bass and everyone called him Snake. Heard a song that reminded me of him, typed in his name and was very sad to see he had passed. Very late condolences to his family and friends.

I think of you often, and miss you so much. I’m so grateful you were such an big part of our lives. Love you dad, always.

Gregory and I became such very close friends from the time I first met him. He always had a smile on his face and laughed at almost anything, making it contagious everywhere we went. He always exercised the Air Force core values even after being retired: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in all We Do. Time went by so quick, but God had the final decision for his life and called on him. He was like a father to me, and he will truly be missed dearly.

I only had the pleasure om meeting Gregory once and he defiantly left a positive impression. Kelly and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family

Such a wonderful man with the kindest heart! He was always a shoulder to lean on in a time of need. I had the opportunity to work with him at Altus... A great mentor and leader! You will be missed!!!

You were a father to me. Words can not truly express the sadness that has overcome me. I will miss your smile, laugh, hugs and your sense of humor that only you could get away with. "Go play on the 6-10!" You are resting now. You deserve it. Form serving your country to taking every opportunity to take care of everyone else, especially my mom. May you rest in peace for all eternity. Eat chicken, play golf and keep heaven clean for us. One day we'll all be together again. I love you so much! He was a great man and awsome mentor. He was a hard worker and truly a POL legend. I never had the opertunity to work with him, but I met him and talked with him at several POL events at Altus AFB. I had heard several stories and all were great and they made you smile. Your legend lives on, your stories of great times will always be passed down, RIP my POL brother in arms!

Such a great supervisor and friend. His enthusiasm and energy was one of a kind. RIP buddy.

So sorry for your loss. We were stationed at Dyess together. I always remember he had a real easy going personality and a great sense of humor.

MSgt Stew..... Don't really know what to say. I always looked forward to filling up the R-11 just to go down to storage and chat with you. One of the greatest mentors of my Air Force career you will definitely be missed.

We loved him and his great personality. It was great serving with him. Won't forget that after he retired he would still go into hydrants and start a fuel transfer. May he smile and laugh in heaven as much as he did in life.

Sgt Stew, it feels like only yesterday you were presenting awards down at the shop, or giving me my 5 level bubble sheets. But that was over 10 years ago. I only worked with you for just one year, but that was long enough for you to make alaying impression. You were a good man, you will be missed. RIP

I was with Stew at Dyess in the early 90's. He was a great dude and NCO. He was always there for the young troops "Keepn IT Real" Gonna be missed brother, RIP

MSgt Stew was an awesome guy and person. Always laughing and cracking jokes. Never did I once ever see him down, always smiles coming from him. RIP MSgt Stew. You will be missed.
