Greg was at West Carrollton Junior High School when I knew him. He was delightful. bright, communicative and gregarious. We were both involved in the Ski Club at the school and enjoyed many evenings at Sugar Creek (Sugar Bump) in Bellbrook before it closed and was developed into a residential plat. Greg was fun and smiling most of the time. People liked him and as a teacher, I found that he had a great personality and that he was friendly and cooperative. He was highly social with his peers and brought a smile and positivity to school class and ski club routinely. I am deeply saddened by his loss. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to work together with him to prepare for what we thought would be a long successful life. I regret that he has died but he will live on in my memory in a positive way for all the years I have left.
Rick Genson (former teacher of reading at West Carrollton Junior High from 1984 to 1988). I welcome comments or notes from anyone who knows me or wishes to respond to my comments. God Bless!

Today, remembering skiing with Greg when he was in Junior High School while he was a student at West Carrollton Junior High School in the eighties. His quick wit and smile allowed him to relate to others with ease. I picture him at Sugar Creek (aka Sugar Bump) and in school smiling and interacting with his friends and peers. Greg's spirit lives on in my heart and mind.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near.
And, oh my God, so very dear.
Rest in Peace Greg in the arms of our loving God.

I remember Greg as a fun-loving, wise-cracking, lover of life who made even the most boring school subjects bearable in junior high and high school. I will be praying for you and all who love him! May God comfort you as only He can.
