Gretchen Biel Read

I love my Aunt Gretchen. She was a kind, funny, & wonderful person! She was a strong woman enjoying retirement and having fun. Everyone loved her because she was just that kind of person.

I´ll always remember Gretchen´s love of pool and how great she was at side pocket shots from any angle! She brought joy everywhere she was! I miss you Gretchen!

We´re so sorry for your loss. When we´ve been lucky enough to have our loved ones with us for so long, it seems impossible that they´ve gone. Although we never met formally, I remember her as being the proudest #1 fan of Rochester Rhapsody, and of course her daughter Sue the director. It was a joy to see her in the audience. Hugs with love for this sad time for the family.

So sorry to hear about your mom and know she was a very special to you. I only met her when the chorus sang at St John's Meadow for the June shows and Christmas shows. I do remember her sitting in the front row with her friends to watch us and loving it. Didn't know her personally but was glad to have met her at the Meadows.

I am so sorry for your loss! I remember meeting your Mom for the first time at her home. We had a gig to go to and it was close to your Mom & Dads home, so we were able to rehearse there before we went. She was so kind and offered us all kinds of food and drink before we went off to sing. Many years following we were able to sing at St. John´s Meadows where she always got her many friends to come to listen to us. I always loved saying hello to her and giving her a hug. I know she will be missed by all of you along with all of her friends at St. John´s Meadows. My heartfelt sympathies and love go out to you all!
