Dear Gelda, hope you rest in peace.

Magnus I'm the spanish girl that took you to school many many years ago!.

Grizelda was beautiful and brilliant. A very modest woman with gorgeous blue eyes and a wonderful smile. She was greatly loved and admired at St.Paul's.

We were trully blessed to have known Grizelda as our neighbour ,Grizelda was a very private woman and we knew she had an extraodinary, fascinating life. She was always friendly and supportive, I have great memories of her in her garden, fixing the fence with her beloved parrot on her shoulder! It was a privilege to have know Grizelda.

I'm told it was her who inspired my parents to give an unusual and memorable name. Thanks, I suppose, for the double-edged sword, and for the inspiration of your life.

I worked with Grizelda for 13 years at the National Gallery.....she was unpretentious, friendly, tactful and unfailingly supportive....a joy for me to work with....my deepest condolences to her family.....I retain wonderful memories of her....
