GUADALUPE (LUPE) VALERO GARCIA
1923 - 2017

GUADALUPE (LUPE) VALERO GARCIA born May 23, 1923, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Lupe left us to be at the side of her husband on December 13, 2017. At an early age, moved to Mexico City where she met her husband of 58 years, David P. Garcia. In 1960, Lupe came to the United States, the land where her husband was born and resided in Fresno, CA; where all her children attended school. Lupe did child care in her home for many years, loved crocheting, sewing, and gardening. Lupe moved to Bakersfield in 2001 to be near her sons Arthur and Jimmy. She is survived by her children; son Arthur his wife Rose and their children, Christian and Michael Son, David Jr, from Escondido, and his children, Daniella and Michael. Son, Jimmy and his children, Daniella, Angie, Daniel, and Dayton. Daughter Esther and her husband Bob from Oregon, their children, James and his wife Christina, Jessica and her husband Josh, and Benjamin Daughter, Lucy and her husband Bryan, and their children Victoria and David. We would like to thank Optimal Hospice and Robert, RN and Juanita, LVN; the two nurses that looked over our mom during these last few months of her life. We are very grateful to her caregiver Anne for being with her and taking such good care of her during the day the last six months of her life. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. A Mass will be at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa Street in Fresno with burial to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery 264 N. Blythe Ave. Fresno, ca. 93706. Time and date to be determined after her cremation. Flowers can be sent directly to the cemetery.
