Guillermo Diaz , 81, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. Born in San Salvador, Guillermo has lived in Ft. Wayne for over 14 years. He was self employed General Contractor for many years. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, reading and bible studies and being outdoors. His hobbies included, hunting, fishing, horse back riding and caring for stray pets. He was an avid collector of flash lights, hats, Swiss Army Knifes and hand tools. He loved spending time with his family.. Surviving are his wife, Graciela Diaz of Fort Wayne, IN children Damaris Diaz of Ft. Wayne, IN; Daniel L. (Nancy) Morales of Ft. Wayne, IN Emily (Javier) Gomez of Ft. Wayne, IN; Delmy (Gabriel Sr.) Guzman of CA; Sonia (Julio) Perez of Australia, Mireya (Vistor) Salazar of CA; Ruth (Poco) Diaz of CA, Carlos Guillermo Perez, Juan Perez both of Canada, Rosa Elvira, brothers, Adan Alfredo Perez Samuel Perez, Raul Perez, 19 grandchildren,8 great-grandchildren, Guillermo was preceded in death by father, Adan Perez, mother, Francisca Diaz, brother, Roberto Perez, sister, Nena Perez. Service is 10:00 am, September 27, 2014 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 1327 Winters Street, with calling one hour prior, with Rev. Jaime Flores officiating. Calling also Friday, September 26, 2014, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the church. Burial in Riverview Cemetery , Churubusco, Indiana. Memorials may be made the family of Guillermo in care Graciela Diaz.
