Pete and Erika and my family had some great times together. We met in Panama while we were both stationed there working for the Army in the 1990's. They will always remain in my memory and I am sad they are gone!

Gunter was one of a kind! We hit it off quickly, and became friends, in spite of my "nurse" title... I will always treasure our time together. He told the best stories, and his love of the Lord ensures we will meet again!! My deepest condolences to you all... he made a beautiful family!!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I wish I had met Mr. Peters way before I did. I will always remember the short period of time of knowing him, and especially our little one-time dance we did. I am so immensely honored to have been a part of the team in his final days. I hope you have some comfort in knowing he departed with his loved ones waiting for him. I thank you for the opportunity and the pleasure of being there with Mr. Peters. Thank you for your services sir. To you and your family. Another Hero gone but will never ever be forgotten. God Bless.

Mr. Peters, as I called him (not Pete :-)) was truly a renaissance man who could relate to just about anyone and just about anything. He was a gentleman and a scholar, soldier and family man, and was always the same, very solid and steady. He loved his family more than anything, and was a welcome host to all, he will be missed.
