Gustave LaStaiti

I recall when I worked for Gus at the bank. I wasn´t aware that my aunt used to babysit for Duncan. Gus knew my aunt quite well.

Gus was one of a kind.... so generous with his time and money. We spent many wonderful years in his company. We will miss him. God be with him.

I worked at CCNB when in High School. Upon my graduation Mr. LaStaiti generously wrote a letter of recommendation for me. It got me my first job. He was a very generous man. I was very saddened to read of his death. My condolences to his family.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family for their loss, and congratulate Mr Lastaiti on his phenomenal life. In his 98 years he left his mark on his family, friends and community.

I too had the pleasure of working for Gustave at Southeastern Bank & Trust Company for many, many years. Starting my banking career in 1978 at 18 years of age, I know I would not be where I am professionally if it were not for both Gus and Ron.

I had the pleasure of working for Gus
at Southeastern Bank & Trust for about 10 years. Those were very happy years for me and quite a learning experience. Gus was kind and a gentle person who cared about
people. He taught me a lot of things
about the business world which I use
today. May you find the peace you
have always seeked and be reunited
with your son and wife.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

My deepest sympathy to all the LaStaiti family. Gus was a great man and neighbor. He will always be remembered for his great love for life, family and friends. He will be missed.

To the family of Gustave LaStaiti our condolences. Your father gave us our first jobs when we graduated from hairdressing school. It was at Perless in Pawtucket. He was a wonderful man.
