Gustave A. "Gus" Schumann

I knew something must have been happening to Gus when I did not receive a Christmas card this past year. I was very sad to see that he had passed away in March. I had the great pleasure to play many rounds of golf with Gus during my time in Racine at Johnson Wax and found him to be a very special human being. Since leaving Racine we have corresponded every Christmas for the past 30+ years and I always looked forward to his envelope full of newspaper clippings on golf, baseball, football and life in general. He will be missed.

To The Family of Gus Schumann,

Gus was a very close friend. We played golf together for over 30 years. He will be sorely missed. Ithink of him every day.

He is in a better place now and if there is a golf course in heaven, i;m sure he's out there now-hopefully, shooting par.
