I never met Guy, but we were second cousins, related through both the Gillespie and Coquigne families. Together with some other Gillespie cousins, we have been maintaining "The Gillespie Family Record" inherited from my great aunt, Edith Gillespie. So by virtue of working on the family history, news of our extended Gillespie family travels. Please accept my deepest sympathies, and know there are Gillespie relations you don't even know thinking of your family now.

Guy was a golden man..gentle and caring. He always set the example with kindness and a great word to say. We motorbiked together and we constantly marvelled at Guy's "iron-butt" get out there and do it attitude. He was a leader of men and he loved his adventures..riding out solo to Alaska kitted out like he was circling the world, and thinking nothing of dashing six hundred miles across to Michigan for a weekend with his family and his buddies. Guy, your gentle humor, your sense of self-less perspective, and your deep wisdom will be sorely missed. We salute you friend!!

You will be missed very deeply dear friend. We will miss your great sense of humor and warm hugs. You left us way too suddenly and way too young. We will watch over and take care of your sweetie and family for you until we can all meet again. God has you safely in his arms taking you on the ultimate motorcycle ride.
