Doug Conatser. When I was around 14-15 yrs old, my dad Loyd Conatser and I went to the RUSH family home on the farm to visit. Guy had just got two pair of boxing gloves. He asked me if I would like to box. Will I said I will try. Well I blooded Guy's nose. We stopped and he didn't even get mad at me. He was a nice person. I was sad to hear of his passing from my sister Louise. Well I will be 81 Sept 1. Most likely I will see Guy soon in GODS HEAVEN. GOD BLESS

To Carolyn and family of Guy Rush we offer our prayers and deepest heartfelt sympathy for your loss. May God comfort you always! Carolyn you may not know this but Guy would often say he wanted me to sing at his funeral. I wish I could have fulfilled that request for him but due to COVID I was not able to. The song I think I would have sung is Where No One Stands Alone. You are in our thoughts. Catherine Brown

Guy was such a unique, personable guy with a huge heart! During Mike’s time working for him, S.K., and Kirk, we enjoyed getting to know, love, and appreciate the man, the husband, the father, and the legend. He was truly bigger than life. Such a blessing to all who knew him! Makes me smile just to think about him. (Debbie) Love you, Carolyn. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your loved ones! Love, Mike and Debbie Coday

Carolyn, we were saddened to hear of Guy’s passing. I had come to respect and to enjoy knowing Guy better these last several years. He truly was a “great guy!
Regrettably, health considerations will prevent our presence at the internment and at the celebration of life ceremonies on Monday.
However, our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
