Wayne was always good to me, we would talk family and at that time he was racing dirt bikes. We had many things in common. Sorry for the loss.

freshman year at Georgia Southern in 1965, I was lucky enough to meet my BFF, Bonnie Harrell and of course that meant I also met Wayne. Can´t think of one without the other - Bonnie&Wayne. So many wonderful memories Robert and I have of times spent with them. One weekend Wayne invited us to go water skiing so we excitedly got on the boat, Robert put on the skis and off we went with Wayne driving. He knew exactly where we were and what was coming up around the bend! Alligators! Yes! Alligators sliding into the river from both sides! Thought Robert was going to have a heart attack and there was Wayne laughing his head off!! Bonnie I were yelling and screaming about getting Robert in the boat before he got eaten! Don´t think we ever went back! But we did have so many, many going away parties for Robert before he left for the Navy. Some were in Gray, some were in Atlanta and some were in Underground with Wayne driving the VW Bus! That VW Bus took me and all my worldly possessions up to be with Robert in Bainbridge, Maryland. Bonnie&Wayne wanted us to be together so they made it happen! Not our best driving on that trip but we made it! We always did make the most of our weekends! Another time they made a trip to see us in Key West! Always there for us! We treasure our friendship and love you dearly. Wayne was smart, fun, funny and a genius musically and mechanically. We will miss him but will keep our memories of him in our hearts. Rest in Peace dear friend. And love you so much my BFF, Bonnie. Love, Sharon & Robert

Wayne and I would talk about dirt bikes. He had a great enthusiasm for them. He could be quite animated.

Some many memories. Bonnie was teaching me how to drive stick shift, I parked 9trillon feet from Miss Ellie, Erin ran into the house screaming I hit her, he had just finished the repairs from the secretary hitting the motorcycle. Oh the look when he flung open to door to giggling youngins. Oh the many times Erin played snake jokes, he is the best Uncle cousin a girl could have. Marigene Prevatt- Lingle
