Hal Holtsinger Jr. Obituary
Hal Scarlett Holtsinger Jr. lived a life of adventure, curiosity, and a passion for the things that made him happiest. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Hal remained deeply rooted in the city that shaped him, where he cultivated a love for photography, boating, technology, and anything with wheels that could go fast. He had an innate ability to capture moments through his lens, was always tinkering with the latest gadgets, and eager to embrace the next big thing.
A graduate of Florida State University, Hal carried his love for learning and exploration throughout his life. He was the son of Alma and Hal Holtsinger and the brother of Clay Holtsinger, Mary Howell, and Celie Martin. Hal shared two beautiful daughters, Brittany Holtsinger and Carley Holtsinger (Sean Barth), with their mother Terry Lee, and in recent years spent time laughing and spinning tops with his grandson, Nico Barth.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Hal's life on March 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Rick's on the River, where stories will be shared, music will play, and his adventurous spirit will be honored in the way he would have wanted-surrounded by good company, great memories, and seafood.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Hal´s family. We´ve been friends for decades, going back to chess tournaments during the summer of Plant High days. One always had a good time with Hal. I bet he is telling some whopper fish stories to the angels. He left us way too soon.
