Hale Smith

My favorite memory of Hale is how devoted he was every morning, to make his and Claire's breakfast.

Hale was a wealth of knowledge. Whenever I was planning a trip I would check in with him for suggestions. He remembered every fabulous restaurant, lovely hotel even those hard to find sights that make your trip unforgettable.
He was also the keeper of family stories. We would sit on the porch of the small cottage on Newfound Lake NH, sharing stories. Often our memories were quite different, but it made for an interesting trip down memory lane.
