As a colleague of Hallie's during her tenure in DC, I cannot begin to express the sadness that this news has brought us. We do not need to tell you that Hallie was a wonderful girl, smart, charming, kind and always a breath of fresh air. My heart goes out to you as I know that you are a very close knit family-the most important things in her life were her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and cousins. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers that you may find the strength to overcome this loss. With deepest sympathies,

Tom, Sarah, Caroline and Thomas; I can't begin to tell you how devastated I was, when Lea called to tell me about Hallie's untimely death. What a wonderful and cheerful person she was and I know you will cherish those memories. Please accept my sincerest condolences and prayers
