As a colleague of Hallie's during her tenure in DC, I cannot begin to express the sadness that this news has brought us. We do not need to tell you that Hallie was a wonderful girl, smart, charming, kind and always a breath of fresh air. My heart goes out to you as I know that you are a very close knit family-the most important things in her life were her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and cousins. Tom, Sarah, Caroline and Thomas; I can't begin to tell you how devastated I was, when Lea called to tell me about Hallie's untimely death. What a wonderful and cheerful person she was and I know you will cherish those memories. Please accept my sincerest condolences and prayers
