Hanh and Family,

We are deeply saddened by this event. Jon, we pray you and the girls are comforted in knowing Hanh doesn't have to worry about the trevails of this world any longer. It was just 10 months or so ago when we last contacted each other, so this was just all very sudden. Take care and if you're ever in the Orlando area, don't hesitate to contact us.

I will never forget the memories we had in Gia Long, taking your money to buy my lunch (at least I shared with you), laughing hysterically when you rummaging through your bags, roaming the streets on our bikes to BX, Bui Dung and Tan Te's home, eating che` at every opportunity... Hanh was such a wonderful, happy person who I have known for about 15 years. She was kind, caring and loved her 2 children and her husband, Jon. I was so happy when they were married. They just fit as a couple. Hanh is in Heaven with no suffering and will always be with her family. Jon my deepest condolences to you and your children. Keep your faith and rely on family, friends and God to get you through this sad time in your life. Hanh will be missed very much and my memories of her will always be with me. It is with great sadness to see you leave like this! We wish we had more time with you. You made us realize that life is really short and we should treasure every minute of it. The first time that I met you was at Huy & Dung's pre-wedding party in 2001. That was over 10 years ago. Within that time that I know you, you were a person filled with kindness, gentleness, sweetness, and warmth. You would go out of your way to lend a helping hand so my wife doesn't get overwhelmed preparing for my daughter's fifth birthday, you were the source of sagacious advice for younger friends who are going through difficult times, and you even travelled long distance just to cook for those with cravings for you culinary. Chi Hanh, you were the “Earth Angel” that walked amongst us.

How could I forget that Sunday afternoon of 2/19/2012 when you passed? That day my world, or perhaps our world, sank. It sank because it suffered a great loss, the loss of our “Earth Angel”.

I miss you my “Earth Angel”. My consolation here is that you will no longer feel the discomforts, where you're going is the “Paradise” that we dream of one day being able to set foot upon, and we will meet again someday.

For Trang, Bo, and Be I say “Good Night Earth Angel”, you will forever be in my heart, my thoughts, my memories, and my prayers.

Jon, my condolences go out to you and your two beautiful daughters during this difficult and trying time. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Hanh was one of the very first friendly people that greeted me and friended me at work (AT&T/DGA) 12 years ago...I knew absolutely no one. We often talked about our daughters, camping trips and our doggies. I used to sit behind her and I would admire the beautiful screensavers on her computer of the girls. Once during a difficult time in my life, she walked over to my desk, held my hand (as we both held back tears) she told me to be strong, and that I wasn't alone. Inside she was a very strong yet and caring person. She was so honest too, and wonderful mother to her girls. I will miss you Hanh.
