Hannah Kelley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 20, 2013.
Hannah Mae Kelley, 13-month old daughter of Aaron and Stephanie Kelley of Bomet, Kenya, went to her forever home on March 14, 2013. Hannah and her family had recently moved to Kenya from Allentown, PA, so her father could serve as a physician at Tenwek Mission Hospital, where the motto is "We Treat, Jesus Heals". Hannah has indeed been fully healed by Jesus! A memorial service was held at Tenwek on Saturday, March 16, where the entire missionary and Kenyan family celebrated Hannah's life and worshipped her Creator. Survivors: Hannah is survived by her Mommy and Daddy; and three older brothers, Noah, Jacob, and Levi Kelley, who loved her dearly. She is also survived by grandparents, Steven and Connie Snyder and Jayne and Phil Wirrick; great-grandmother, Rovena Walker; and great-grandfather, Albert Leach. Hannah was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Douglas Kelley. Services: Hannah's life will also be celebrated in both the Allentown area where the Kelleys lived prior to going to Kenya and in Hannah's parents' hometown of Mifflintown, PA. There will be a viewing at Salem Bible Church in Macungie from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 22, and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. In Mifflintown there will be a viewing at Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church on Monday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. A private interment will take place at the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery in Mifflintown. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse to support the family's continuing work in Tenwek. Donations can be sent to World Medical Missions, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 and need to include the Kelley's project number: 004392.
