Hanoi Garcia-Binnon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 7, 2024.
Hanoi Cindy Garcia-Binnon, known affectionately as Cindy, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Chesterfield, Virginia, at the age of 53. Born in New York City, Cindy was a beloved figure in her community, known for her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and faith.

Cindy is survived by her maternal aunt, Genoveva (Eva) Ortiz; her children, Luis A. Rosales, Ashley N. Rosales, and Melanie A. Rosales; sisters, Karen McNeill, Eva Rojas, Deborah Ross, and Ysnelly Ortiz; four cherished grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Cindy also leaves behind Luis M. Rosales, the love of her life and father of her beloved children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandra (Cinthia) Acosta and Manuel Garcia; her husband, Eloy Binnon; and sisters, Beatrice and Sandra Ortiz.

Cindy was a devoted church member and an active participant in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her hardworking nature and faithfulness were evident in all her endeavors. She cherished her children and grandchildren deeply, and although she missed being close to them, her love knew no bounds.

A memorial service will be held later this fall in Albany, NY, her family's hometown, to celebrate Cindy's life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission, honoring Cindy's love for children and her faith. Cindy's memory and spirit will live on through the many lives she touched.

Winter 2022
Cold day our boss's took us to Carter Mountain. Me not thinking the word Mountain had anything to do with where it was located. I remember cindy looking at me and saying "Girl" i could hear you screaming your head off in merts car. I said - I did'nt know we had to climb a mountain to get here. She said crazy its called carter mountain- I said ok bold rock is a beer and its not a rock. She said i cant with you. . I said i know, but im not about to climb a mountain for apples tell them to take us to krogers.
We immediately looked at each other and laughed till we cried.
We did climb up the outlook to take this picture.
Rest easy love

I will always cherish our memories and I´m beyond grateful to God that he allowed us to be neighbors and friends. I´m so sorry Cindy, we always think we have more time. But I find solace knowing that you´re with Jesus and enjoying the majesty of heaven. Until we meet again friend! I´ll love you always.
