Hardy Pretty Obituary
PRETTY Hardy Francis (Frank) July 10, 1927 - December 14, 2007 Frank passed away peacefully at the age of 80 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sachi. Frank is predeceased by his parents Noel and Laura and brothers Edward and John Pretty of Australia. He leaves to mourn his sister Joyce and brother-in-law George Copeland of Australia and their daughter Susan (Takatoshi) Maruyama and their children in Japan. Frank is survived by his sister-in-law Pam and many nieces and nephews in Australia. He will be sadly missed by friends, in laws, nieces, and nephews in the lower mainland. Frank will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, sharp mind, and dry sense of humour. His passion was to live life to the fullest-to this end we invite you to raise your glass to make a toast to Frank and his philosophy of life. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. A. K. Javer and the very special staff of the Hospice Unit at Queen's Park Hospital and to his physician of many years, Dr. D. Jones. A private memorial service was held in Frank's honour on Tuesday, December 18, 2007.

Sachi, so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I worked with Frank in real estate and I remember admiring his fairness, his sense of humour and his kindness. Through the years, as I moved away, I lost touch with him but thought of him often. He has left good memories.
