Harlan Herner Obituary
Harlan L. "Big Daddy" "Egg" Herner, 58, of Tucson AZ, passed away on March 18, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1965, in Tucson, AZ, to the late Harlan "Charlie" and Beryl Herner.
Harlan had a contagious laugh and a booming voice, always bringing joy and love to those around him. He was a loving father to his son, Harlan C. Herner, and cherished by his sister, Katie Castillo, and nephews Joey (Lyndsay) and Andreas Castillo, niece Tyler (Josh) Eddie, and great-nephew Enzo Castillo.
Harlan proudly served in the United States Navy from 1983 to 1987, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country. Following his military service, he embarked on a career with USPS from 1991 to 2017.
In his free time, Harlan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling to Mexico. He found solace in the outdoors and created lasting memories through his hobbies.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, May 19th at 1:00 pm at Wooden Nickel, 1908 South Country Club, Tucson, AZ, to honor and remember Harlan's life.
Harlan L. Herner will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his laughter and love will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

I lived with Harlan for many years, with his step brother Tim. What a great guy. I have so many fond memories of those days! He always ate whatever I made. No matter if it was good or not. He was a kind and generous soul. I will miss him.
