Harmon Winfred Dillard

Harmon Winfred Dillard BLUFF CITY, Tenn. Harmon Winfred Dillard, age 65, passed away on Jan. 12, 2011, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1945, in Bristol Virginia, a son of the late K.N. "Cecil" and Salley Mitchell Dillard. He was a tack welder for Bristol Metals and was a member of the United Steelworkers of America. He was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church and had several close church friends. In addition to his parents, Harmon was preceded in death five brothers, Jess Dillard, Mitchell Dillard, Artie Dillard, Fred Dillard, Gene Dillard; a sister, Geraldine South; and a grandson, Pvt. Eric Patrick. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Dillard. Also surviving: daughters, Tina Sue Lafferty and Mary Ann Musser; brother, Larry Dillard; one granddaughter; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Shaffer, Rev. Tommy Tester, and Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 at the church prior to the funeral service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
