Harold Baker Obituary
He was born June 29, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio to Milton Jacob and Dorothy A. (Dunham) Baker. On March 5, 1949, he married Lois Salisbury in Temperance, Mich. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2015. Harold had been self-employed as a carpenter and home builder. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and Hope Lutheran Church.
Harold is survived by three sons, Daniel (Dawn) Baker of Adrian, David (Kathy) Baker of Pennsylvania and Harold Lee (Kristen) Baker of Manitou Beach; a daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Eklund of Adrian; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his companion, Linda Pebbles of Addison. In addition to his wife, Lois, he was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bertha Mae (Jim) O'Conner of Manton, Mich., and Alice (Elwood) Pritchard of Marion, Mich.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Harold's Life to be held in the spring, the date and location to be announced at a later date. Burial of cremains will be at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery in Sylvania, Ohio.

Cheryl, Dan, Dave and Harold Lee, so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was such a special person. I have so many memories of spending many hours on the farm with Cheryl. Your family was like a second home to me in our carefree childhood days. Again sorry for your loss.

Our deepest condolences to Harold's family. Harold was a very dear close friend of my Dads (Clyde Dermyer) for as long as I can remember. He was always there to help my Dad and help take care of things before my Dad passed in 2012. We are so sorry for your loss of such a kind warm man.

I loved the long talks we had while waiting for the geese to come into our decoys. He always had such great insight on not only political issues but life in general. I asked and truly valued his opinion on many things over the last 25 plus years. He was a great man and a great hunter. I will miss him so. Hope I see you on the other side buddy.
