Esther, I've been out of town and it was too late to attend the viewing and not sure if I can be there for the service tomorrow. Just remember my thoughts are with you and your family during this trying time.

Esther and family.
I've been out of town for the past week and was shocked when I opened the Bristol paper and read of Harold's passing. I'm not sure if I will be able to attend services tomorrow, but
remember you're in my ever thought.

Harold Dingus was a great guy and will be dearly missed! I spent quite a bit of time at his house when I was in high school with Phil and Suzie. I remember Harold as always coming up with witty remarks and being happy and positive. Even when Phil and I happened to make poor choices, he was stern but always fair. Harold was a good man and we should celebrate his life!

Esther, Phil and the rest of the Dingus family, it saddens me to hear of your loss. Harold was a good friend and mentor to me with Bristol Baseball. May GOD bless you all and give you comfort during your time of grief.

I will miss "Uncle Harold". He was the sweetest and funniest man that I have ever known. As a child, I spent many hours at his home. There was never a boring moment. What a blessing he was to my life.

Harold Dingus was one of the best men that I have ever known. You could not be unhappy around Harold. He would always make you laugh and feel good. His stories were always hilarious, and he could remember any joke that he had ever heard. He really worked with the little league programs in Bristol and helped many young people get a great start in sports. He was a blessing to his community.

Mary and Charles Shortt would like to say how much Harold Dingus blessed our lives. He was a wonderful friend and a man who really cared about his family and his community. He had the best personality of anyone that we have ever known. He always made us feel welcome in his home. He was so intelligent, and he never forgot anything that you told him. He loved jokes, and he could figure out the punch line of any joke before you finished it, which always made it funnier. He is probably making the angels in heaven laugh right now. We love him dearly and will miss him so much, especially at the summer picnics.
