I just saw Mr Fife’s obituary here. I only met him a few times when he was with his dad, Harold, in Conroe. I knew Mr. Fife,Sr. when he was a meat inspector with the City of Houston Health Department. My mother, June Fritzler Sadoti, was the department secretary and knew him well. Mr. Fife always said when I ran into him at Walmart that he was always so thankful my mother helped him get the paperwork started for his pension. My mother always spoke highly of him - ever a true and kind gentleman and said the same of his son, Jimmy.
My belated condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I grew up with Stacy and remember her having to get up with her steers and work them during the day.
She couldn't spend the night at my house very often because she had to be in the barn in the morning. I had my first drink of coffee at Ms Diane's yellow kitchen bar. I tried to act cool but it was awful.
I remember swimming in horse troughs and running across the way to Stacy's grandparents.
I think of tall when I drive by yalks road on the way to my mom's place.
The Fifes have left a beautiful legacy. Love you all.

Fife was my favorite teacher at ORHS. I took his class every semester for 4 years. He was also my FFA leader and had a unique way of encouraging us on show day. He was always good to me and even encouraged me to to my first calf scramble at the county fair. I offer my deepest condolences to the family as the world has lost such a brightness in Mr. fife.

I was a student of Mr Fife at Oak Ridge and better known as the Feed Store Girl. My family owned Woods feed and garden center. Mr.Fife was a man of such great character and provided so many life lessons to so many students past and present of my class.
Prayers to all of the Fife family.
