Harold Fritz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 21, 2024.
Harold Charles Fritz II, also known as H.C., Bill, Billy, or Booty Dingle, was born on the 4th of July, 1970, at Riverside Hospital in Trenton, Michigan. He passed away peacefully at home in Lake City, Michigan, on October 20, after a year-long battle with liver disease.

H.C. is survived by his two sons, Austin Fritz of New Boston, Michigan, and William "Will" (Alli) Fritz of Howell, Michigan, as well as his devoted parents, William "Bill" Fritz and Patricia "Pat" (Sinclair) Fritz, and his sister, Leslee Fritz of Traverse City, Michigan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

A talented carpenter and concrete mason, H.C. took great pride in his work. His co-workers constantly remarked that he will be remembered as a hard-worker. He had a deep love for NASCAR and the great outdoors, making many memories with his boys, enjoying fishing, boating, hunting, as well as spending time with his beloved cats, Sassy and Dude.

Though he faced many personal struggles, H.C. found peace in his faith before his passing, proclaiming, "Our God is so good." His humor, his love for his family, and his passion for nature defined his life and will be remembered by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions toward H.C.'s final costs are kindly requested. A private graveside service will be held for family. We will celebrate H.C.'s life with friends and family at a date to be announced.

H.C.'s love for his family, his talents, and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered. Though he faced many challenges, he leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The family is being served by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain, thoughts and prayers can be left at burkholderfunerals.com
