In memory of
Bill Haas
October 28, 2020
I remember Harold from my time as a student at Boston University. After some years out of school, I returned as a biology major in the extension division. My first course, general biology, had a lab with Harold as the instructor. The lab met each Monday, and each week I would spend a third of the time talking with Harold. We had the same goal: medical school. I know now that Harold followed through; I veered off into the History of Science and was in graduate school when my then wife and I went to Harold and Rita's wedding and then to the bris of their first child. After a while I lost track of Harold, and now in 2020 I wanted to find out what had transpired in the intervening years. I am schocked and very saddened to learn that he died so young and sorry that I did not keep in touch.

Hi Mrs. Galena and family,
Dr. Galena was a great boss, and doctor to me I will sadly miss him. I will continue to have him in my heart and I will continue to be strong as I work in the office. It is just sad to hear that he is gone now but, I always think of him. He was a great boss/doctor/friend to me, I will always have him in my heart.

Note to dr. galena in heaven
Dr. Galena you were the best doctor I ever had. "I will miss all the jokes and laughs we had together. You were always there when I needed you and you always helped me--you also hired me not caring that I had a disability as you know some people dont have the kind of heart you did, you always told me you loved me working for you. Thanks doctor galena for all you have done for me and my family. I went into surgery on october 8, 2003 thinking about you, but I know god has you in a special place I will continue to work at the office, keeping you in my heart all the time.
