Joan, Kate, Mary, Bruce, and Peter:

We were so sorry to hear of Harold's passing - sorry we weren't able to make the memorial service. We will miss his great sense of humor and deep laugh - I can hear it in my head...

Sending you all good thoughts / prayers for comfort and laughter in spite of this time of loss.

Joan and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Harold's death. A cousin of mine from Mpls called me today to say she'd seen the obit in the Trib. Joan, you said in your Christmas card that he'd had a stroke in Oct. I'm Harold's cousin Clara Hanson's dghtr and Harold and I e-mailed back and forth. He always sent interesting e-mails and I was always happy to hear from him. He was a sharp guy. I will miss hearing from him. You and your family will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you and walk close beside you as you face the days ahead without your loved one. It's been three yrs since Mother died and she was 91 and nearing her 92nd birthday when she died.Dad had died in 2001 and he was 93. I remember Harold and his family from when I was a child when along with my parents and family we visited their family in Rochester. I remember a flower garden and I remember a Mary.I also can still see Art & Anna. That was many long yrs ago but I do remember we always enjoyed our visits there. We would always stop to see Inga also. I have a copy of the geneology that Harold worked on. He did a very good job. I enjoyed reading it and hope my kids will too. I lost my husband at a young age - he died in 1988 so I understand how the loss feels but I also know for each of us it's different. Please know that I will pray for your family as you suffer your loss.
