Celebrating the life of Harold Clayton Ingram Sr. who passed on to his heavenly home on Friday, September 19, 2014. Visitation will be today, September 21, 2014, from 5 to 7 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

Hal graduated from Auburn University in 1949 and retired after a 30 year career with Monsanto. He was a board member for the Family Security Credit Union and an active member of Austinville United Methodist Church. He was a storyteller and entertained his family, many friends and acquaintances with narratives of his life's journey. He was an avid fan of his beloved Auburn Tigers, loved to golf, walk the trail and travel. He dedicated the latter years of his life to his true love, wife Mary.

Harold was preceded in death by his sons, John and Keith Ingram.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary; sons, Clayton Ingram Jr. (Kim); Greg Ingram (Lee); sister, Joann Baird of Alexander City; grandchildren, Matt Ingram (Mary Helen), Meredith Easterwood (Tony), Bryant Ingram; great-grandchildren, Harper Easterwood and Kate Ingram.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Austinville United Methodist Church, 908 Lamar St., SW, Decatur, Al 35601.
