Dear Mrs. Levy,
We were so sad to hear about Mr. Levy. I think back to all the time I spent at your house growing up. We know you have many wonderful memories of your time together & we hope that those times & his love & spirit will help lessen the pain that you are feeling. There's an emptiness that cannot be replaced, but hopefully with the love of those around it will help fill some of the void. Sorry that we couldn't have been with you but we will see you when we are next in Montreal.
With love,
Peter & Gail Gold

My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Levy. I use to work for him in Colebrook NH when the sewing factory was opened. I was just a teen at the time but got to know him through the years. He was a wonderful man a good person to work for and very down to earth man. I will miss him very much he made a difference in my life and I will always cherish the wonderful memories he has left behind. I know the pain as I lost my Dad last July 2007 and I'm still missing him.
You'll be in my prayers.

Dear Auntie Eva, Marilyn and Bill,
I know I speak for Both Arlene and Donna when I say how very sorry we are!! It is unbelievable when you think it was just two short weeks ago we had such a wonderful time seeing one another after so many years. I guess it was meant to be! I know it was a very important time in our lives, one we will never forget! For Arlene and I, it brought back many happy memories of our childhood. Uncle Harold sure had a great sense of humor, and the tales he told Arlene and I about our Dad were ones we will cherish forever. We love you all!!! Our prayers and thoughts will ALWAYS be with you!!!!

Dear Mrs. Levy,
I,m not sure you will remember me, but I use to help Scott Berry with the maintenance of the tractors and lawn mowers. I was saddened by the phone call from Scott, telling of Mr. Levy's passing. He was a great man and I am the better for having know him. Memories of him will always be with me. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this sorriful time for you.

Mrs. Levy and family: I met Mr. Levy in 1974 when I started work at Manchester Mfg in Colebrook, NH. He was a gentle man, he had great confidence in our young work crew and we were successful together. He was alot of fun, he's the first person that I met that would have onions in a martini! I learned alot from him and Mrs. Levy too. I hope that your generosity towards us will be returned tenfold. Harland & I have you and your family in our prayers.

Dear family,
Mrs. L said that we all have our private memories. Do I ever! His flogging clubs, his cars (convertibles, and going to Candiac to see them), his cigars, his pipes, his smile, his teasing Marilyn & I about being put on pension from Monklands, his generosity when David & I got engaged, his being a 2nd father and of course, Mrs. L, a 2nd mother, and then of course a sister Marilyn and a brother Billy (sorry, I mean Bill). And then Bubby Viva and Zaidy Harold to our children. Over the last ? years I have so many good memories, it's hard to put them all down on paper. When I think back and realize that he was about 39 when I met him and I thought he was "older", now I am in my "60's,and realize that he was just a kid. I just thought I could share a few of our memories with you. Mr. L, you will be sorely missed, but always loved and remembered.

Dear Eva, Marilyn and Billie,
Sadly, Mom was unable to attend the service today. Instead, she called me to let me know what had happened and to reminisce about the past.
For the time being, she has asked me to express her condolences and her hopes that you will all be spared further sorrow.

One reaches an age where the stars go out, one by one. Today, the sky is a little darker.
To you, dear Eva, condolences at the loss of the friend of your youth. Together, you wandered many paths in life: let precious memories continue to warm and light you on your way.
Marilyn and Billy: may you preserve the best of your dad within you and make the world a better place for that continuity.
May all of you form a well of strength and consolation from which you can draw.
May G-d spare you further sorrow.

Dear Bubby Viva, Marilyn and Family,
When my mother called to tell me Zaidie Harold had passed I was very sad. All the memories in your house with him brought back my smiles. I thought of when my brother and I played with all the toys that were downstairs. I remember all the cookies that were baked..No matter when my parents and us showed up we were invited in. I also thought of the happy caring loving place I was in. I wanted to let you know that my prayers and thoughts are with you. May you be spared any further sarrow. Zaidie Harold you will be missed...

I want to express my sympathy to the entire Levy family. Thirty two years ago I started working at Manchester Mfg. in Colebrook, NH. Little did I know then that I would meet one of the nicest men you would ever meet. Many, many fond memories of Mr. Levy. His kindness and generosity was overwhelming. I learned a lot of lifes values from Mr. Levy and they still hold a place in my heart today. He always said, "Listen to your father"! And I always did listen to what he had to say. Mrs. Levy, you and Mr. Levy always treated me very special and I will never forget that. I love you both. He will be greatly missed.
