Donna, Jackie, Dino, Belinda, Janet and Char:
I remember all of you when you were very little. My Dad died when I was in my 30's, and it was difficult. I have so many good memories, as I am sure you all do. Your Mom told me how much all of you have helped her through this process. Sounds like your family is very close. There is nothing better than to fill time with noise and laughter, and that probably comes naturally to your gang. I will be thinking of you with smiles, and I know you will be there for each other. "Blessed be...the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation." 2Corinthians 1:3,4. Hope to see you someday soon.

Char, Bob, Sarah, Josh, Emily & Laura...

It makes us so sad to know how much you are hurting right now, and to know that we are helpless to ease that pain for you. Remember what your dad told you recently about life beginning at death...eternal life...and know that your memories of him let him live on forever in your hearts. He was a blessed man to have such a close and caring family. Our sympathy and our prayers...we love you all...

My husband, Fred Craig, Attended WVUTech with Harold and I've often heard him speak of Harold. Fred died after a brief illness on May 13,2008 but I am sure he would want to remember his classmate....they both died of the same complications it appears.
Thinking of you,

To Aunt Angie, Donna, Dino, Jackie, Belinda, Janet, Char, and your respective families: May God bless you and comfort you all in these darkest of days. Try to remember, though, that your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather is pain-free - and in a far better place - as surely he sits at the side the Lord this day. And while his absence is sure to leave a whole in all our hearts we must strive to fill that whole with our love, our respect, and our memories - and, in that way, carry him with us for as long as we too shall live. For, in so doing, he too lives on.
I wish for each of you the peace, serenity, and wisdom that only faith can provide - and the knowledge that it is you and your families - the ones he left behind - that are his legacy. You have lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Aunt Carrie has lost her only brother (and only surviving sibling), while I and others have lost a beloved uncle and mentor. And while our world may seem a bit darker in his absence, heaven must certainly shine brighter with his presence.

With sympathy and heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you all.
