HAROLD MUEHLSTEIN

  YOAKUM - Harold "Sonny" Muehlstein, age 65, died on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. He was born in Moulton on Jan. 31, 1944 to August and Annie Kalisek Muehlstein.
  He was a welder for Kaspar Wire Works, served in the Army National Guard, was a member of the Shiner American Legion Post No. 201 and Hermann Sons, and he was a Catholic.
  Survivors: daughter, Laura (Eric) Vickers of Victoria; sons, Edward (Betty) Warren of Pleasant Gap, Pa., Dale (Kristy) Muehlstein of Yoakum, Jeffery (Stephanie) Muehlstein of Goliad, and Danny (Bonnie) Warren of Shiner; sister, Carolyn (Charlie) Hoepfl of Yoakum; brother, Garry (Janie) Muehlstein of Shiner; 16 grandchildren; and a special friend, Elvera Janak.
  Preceded in death by: wife, Marcia Muehlstein; son, Daryl Muehlstein; and a sister, Mary Ann Muehlstein.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.
  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Seay officiating. Burial will be at Moulton City Cemetery.
  Pallbearers: Eric Vickers, Lowell Martin, Sr., David Muehlstein, Calisto Loya, Lowell Martin, Jr., and Victor Janak.
  Honorary pallbearers: his grandchildren, Charlie Hoepfl, Garry Muehlstein, Edwin Bubin Hoepfl, and Vestine Muehlstein.
  Memorial contributions may be given to Accolade Hospice.

Words can not describe Harold Muehlstein to me because he is my father. No he was my daddy. God blessed me the day I became his daughter. Up to the last day of his life he has always told me I LOVE YOU! He was never selfish and he was always giving and ready to lend a hand or two if you needed him to. He was dedicated and loyal. My daddy was a very loving man. I will miss him with all my heart. Rest in peace daddy! I love you so much and I miss you deeply.
