In memory of
Mary Rodgers

When I first met Doug we where opening a new restaurant in Memphis he was such an easy going guy a perfect fit for that particular setting. Hospitality has sooo many entities as whole. I remember having several conversations with him about life and things they were always just genuine. When decided to relocate to Louisville I was so happy he said if this way and need some you'll always have to work with me and I know he truly meant that. So sorry for the of a son, a brother, a partner, and father absolutely sincere condolences to all

Doug exuded hospitality and what it meant to take care of customers and staff. May his memory be a blessing.

So young with so much more life to live but an eternity of bliss.
My heart is with all of the family.
Doug took a chance on me one day- that chance led me into 12 years with a company in which I didn´t believe I could even have an opportunity.
He asked, "why do you want to work here." I laughed & said "because it´s got a fish on the side of the building." He chuckled & said, " you´re going to be my challenge."
Started as a cocktail waitress, up to bartender, to official server, & knew that place like the back of my hand.
It was the first time I got offered a goal to reach & I want to say I take pride in meeting that challenge.
He will be missed for sure, but again- this stay is just temporary. We will meet again my dude. w/love & light.
