REAMS Dr. Harold Lee, passed away on December 29, 2018. Harold was born on May 6, 1937 in London, Kentucky and was one of two children of the late George Elbert and Nelle Brock Reams. He graduated from Harlan Independent High School in 1955. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Virginia (Ginny) Thompson in 1957. He was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1958. He attended Vanderbilt University Medical School and graduated in 1963. Immediately following medical school he served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 1963-1965. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for 48 years, where he served as Chairman of Deacons and as a Sunday School teacher. Dr. Reams is survived by Ginny, his loving wife of 61 years, his daughter, Kim Ledbetter of Lexington, KY and son Rick Reams (Stephanie) of Lexington KY, and his five grandchildren: Hunter Ledbetter (Kristen), Heather Karrick (Mason), Raychel Riggs (Brooke), Jackson Reams and Jennings Reams, as well as five great grandchildren: Marie, Aubrey, Lincoln, Lucy and Allie. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, KY with funeral services held immediately following at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church (150 East High St., Lexington, KY 40507).

Ginny, Kim and Rick and the entire family of Dr Reams, We are saddened about the passing of Dr Reams. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Please know that you are and will continue to be in my prayers in the coming weeks. I pray that God will give you the peace that he only can give you at this difficult time.
