Harold Reynolds, 85, of Payne Springs, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 in the same city.
Mr. Reynolds was born July 30, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Henry and Maude Reynolds.
Previously of Duncanville, Mr. Reynolds has resided in Payne
Springs since 1993, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eustace.
Mr. Reynolds retired from Harold Reynolds Excavating, Inc., and was also involved in the Dallas County Sheriff's Posse under Mr. Bill Decker.
He is a Lifetime Member of the Dallas VFW Post #7843.
Visitation and services were held at Eubank Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 beginning at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
Burial took place at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Estelle Martin and Beatrice Hall, and one brother Thomas Henry Reynolds, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Reynolds of Mabank, TX; a son Ray Reynolds; a step son, Kevin Harris and wife, Kathy of Waxahachie, TX; granddaughter Alyssa Harris of Waxahachie, TX; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Reynolds.
Along with nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Pallbearers were Ron Taylor, Brent Germany, Jeff Germany, Monnie
Barron, Gary Williamson and Bill Ansley.
Honorary Pallbearers were Luke Shafer and Frank Ramirez.
Arrangements under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
