Sorry to hear about Harold's passing. I just completed a search trying to track him down and say hello. We worked together at ABC when he made the move to management. We were also friends and I would give him a hand on New Years Eve with Dick Clark. We remained friends after I left ABC and took over the Family business which Supplied ABC with Fuel for their vehicles. We enjoyed each other's company and shared many a great story. RIP my friend.

Harold was always very kind, welcoming and supportive of Kathleen and I. He was happy we found each other. His good nature and amazing talents live on in all of his children and grandchildren. I can see some of him in all of them. Harold, I will love and miss you always.

I have the fondest memories of following my dad around when he was building or fixing things. I wanted to do everything with him. I learned so much from him and he was happy to teach me. Recently we talked about how he restored an old army jeep. I was by his side under that jeep holding the wrenches or bleeding the brakes. He was the original tool man and if you needed it, he had it. If I was working on a project (usually electrical) and got stuck I would call him or face-time him and he would walk me through it. A generous spirit, he loved to help people. I will miss shopping in Lowe's with him. I will miss our conversations about all our grand ideas and projects. I will miss baking crumb cake with him. I will miss my Dad!

I was very fond of Harold, having worked with him many years ago in my capacity as a TV audio engineer at ABC. He was like a ray of sunshine. Everyone was drawn to him. If I remember correctly, on-the-air talent like TV anchor men Roger Grimsby and Bill Beutel on "Eyewitness News" in NY enjoyed his company as much as we did. When he went into management, it was the company's gain. I know they appreciated him for his great technical expertise and his great work ethic. He brightened everyone's day. Harold Robbins was a gem.

You came into my life when things were falling apart all around me and your smile and caring words made the world look so much better. I knew right away that you were a loving man and I was blessed when you said you wanted Melissa and me in your life. I have loved and adored you for our 28 years of marriage and I can't imagine how I will go on without you by my side. I will love you with my whole heart forever Honey.
